RI.CO.MA srl is rooted in a solid family tradition that has been proudly passed down through three generations. The company was established in 1948, when Aldo Valeri founded the first headquarters in Genova Certosa, during a period of strong national industrial rebirth. In those years, the business focused on the manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical parts for major local steel companies, including Italsider in Genova Cornigliano and Ansaldo.
As the years passed and activities intensified, his sons Adriano and Angelo advanced the company through investments, acquiring new clients including the emerging multinationals in the steel sector.
In 1981, the company moved its headquarters to the newly established industrial zone of Tagliolo Monferrato which, thanks to its proximity to major highway hubs, is logistically strategic. The use of a significantly larger area allowed the company to aim for the production of larger furnaces, machines, and plants, resulting in further corporate growth.
Andrea and Alessandro, sons of Adriano and Angelo and the current managers of the company, have continued this path and brought further growth. This, combined with over 70 years of experience and a constant drive for innovation, currently allows RICOMA to be a key partner for leading multinationals in the steel sector and beyond.
